I'm a Poet

My sanity can be of great vanity;
The world needs my insanity,
y'all need me to be crazy;
you have to be out of your mind to think you can change things;
but the world needs saving,
and I'm done sitting back, praying;

Half of the times, I don't know where these words come from;
maybe from those relationships in which I played the dumb one;

or maybe they come from past disappointments;
carrying a purpose so strong got me feeling anointed;

pointed in the right direction by the Divine, everyday can be my time;
in every way I show my lives;

I'm one of a few that'll walk in Truth;
I don't play by the rules, I break them;
I don't look for opportunities, I make them;

we come from a different planet and you know it;
and alien invader but you can call me a poet.
