"What you reading?" I asked her;
it seems like the books she's been reading has unmasked her;

she showed me her true self in the form of knowledge;
like the paint on her nails she's so well polished;

she said,
"it's too many Nicki Minaj's and not enough Nicki Giovanni's;
too many women are against me because I speak truth, not enough besides me;

I understood her well,
she's done been through hell;
I admire her looks, I've scented her smell;

she's a photographer,
so she sees life differently;
so I always wondered what she sees in me;

camera always in her,
studied her like a scripture;
I see her doing her thang,
but who takes her picture?

She's like an unsolved mystery;
wondering if I could get to know her history and build on some chemistry;

fuck school tho,
we rather be some fools tho;
drink occasionally, but we love to smoke;

she's a smart decision;
