Every Friday,
she gets home to find herself in a bottle;
long week of work, tribulations, and trials;

her girls are on their way,
so she got time to cope;
'cause life ain't easy, she's all out of hope;

she's learning a lot of lessons;
she wants positive vibes in her presence;
drinks and smokes for the depressant;
boyfriend got another woman pregnant;

her mom is tripping,
she never met her dad;
her older sister's sad,
because her baby's daddy beats her ass;

to have her friends around
with the music loud is like their therapy;
prays to God but never gets clarity;
keeps it real, has a lot of transparency;

covers her pain with tattoos and booze;
her and her friends get loose
to dance and show off their boobs;

they're just trying overcome adversity; living assertively,
doesn't hurt feelings purposely.
It's their strength that keeps them going.
