A Dark Night

She tasted me
and realized that she has been starving;
I caught her while I was doing my Batman thing,
she was out robbing;

here I am trying to save the world,
but gets easily seduced by her vivacious living;
she was born unfortunate,
had to work with the talents she was giving;

sold beauty, her body, and brains;
to a bunch of Jokers who didn't know her name;

all her friends were Two-Face criminals;
buried a lot of loved ones,
been to too many funerals;

try to keep the peace
while her heart cold like Mr. Freeze;
takes a trip to the beach
just to feel the breeze;

she got introduced to the same darkness that I had to meet;
so it was no surprise to catch her in these streets.
