Museum

Caught her at a museum taking selfies, being bored;
I walked up to her and said,
"Excuse me ma'am, no taking pictures of the art works;"
She apologized and said,
"I was taking pictures of myself;"
I winked and said, "I know."

She was impressed,
because no one ever flirts there;
she laughed when she found out I didn't work there;

we walked around the museum acting a fool;
she's full of conversation,
she just finished school;

she comes here because she finds a peace of mind;
that was the same reason why I go,
so I wanted to give her a piece of mine;

before she gave me her number so that we can be museum buddies,
I asked, "Where ya man at?"
She says, "At home,"
but I didn't understand that;

we connected so well,
I thought I had a chance;
that night I laughed when she text me,
that she lied about having a man.
